How Brain Training Helps Children Improve Focus & Learning

Ms. Daisy, a mother of an 8-year-old girl
Brain training wasn’t easy for my girl at all, but it taught her to become stronger — both in her cognitive skills and mental resilience.

The programme has definitely helped her improve in reading and spelling, but the greatest benefit I see from BrainRx is how it has shaped my girl’s attitude towards learning. She has developed more grit, perseverance, and readiness to face challenges instead of giving up when things get difficult.

For me, that is one of the most meaningful outcomes of the programme — equipping her with the confidence and resilience to keep learning and growing in a 21st century filled with rapid changes, new opportunities, and uncertainties.

I’m truly grateful to see the person she is becoming through this journey.

From the videos shared by the coaches, they further affirm my observation that my son really enjoys the training. I hope he can transfer the skills gained from this program and excel in school.

In terms of social learning, my son seems to be better in his ability to listen instructions and show greater patience when taking turns. I would definitely recommend this program to others in need!

It’s amazing to see the transformation that the BrainRx program has brought to my daughter. From being fearful and avoiding learning the piano and attending mengaji Al-Quran classes, to looking forward to her private tutors arriving home, she is now enjoying all the classes she has to attend.

The program has helped boost her ability to think and learn independently and confidently. On top of her mental effort and logical reasoning skills, she has shown great improvement in her ability to attend to and respond to conversations in daily life. This means a lot to my daughter and the whole family.

Last year, I discovered Mind Crafters and saw BrainRx as a different training approach that could help my son move forward after he seemed to have reached a plateau with years of Occupational Therapy.

We were quite concerned at first because he wasn’t even able to complete the entry assessment at Mind Crafters — he actually ran away halfway through the test! At that time, we wondered whether he would be able to cope with the BrainRx training.

Since joining the programme, we have seen meaningful changes in him. He has become more responsive and engaged in conversations with others in his daily life. More importantly, he is now able to sit still for longer periods and complete tasks given by his school teachers — something that was much more difficult for him before.

We were also pleasantly surprised and delighted by his year-end stage performance, where he was able to follow the rhythm and perform alongside the percussion team. It was such a meaningful moment for us to see him participate and stay engaged throughout the performance.

His school teachers have also been giving us positive feedback about his attention and learning performance, which has been very encouraging.

We hope my son will continue to thrive through the BrainRx programme. We can see that he still has so much room to grow, and we’re excited to see what he can achieve next.
